Promoting and advertising tourism information effectively, Thua Thien Hue welcomes and attracts many international tourist markets |
In 2023, tourism in the province will recover strongly and one of the effective solutions to attract visitors to Hue is to promote and advertise tourism information. The Tourism Promotion Information Center has focused on managing, operating, posting information, images, and promotional articles about destinations and tourism products of Thua Thien Hue on the website of the Department of Tourism, Hue Tourism Information Portal (VisitHue.vn), Japanese website (103 articles), Japanese fanpage and social networking platforms (facebook, tiktok, instagram, zalo, youtube, twitter...).
The reprinting of Vietnamese-English bilingual publications “Hue – The journey of discovery”; “Hue Guide Book 4 languages”; Publishing of brochures containing QR Codes in the languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese has also created efficiency. The Center also continues to provide documents and publications promoting Thua Thien Hue tourism to be displayed at hotels serving tourists, units in the province that need to provide information at a number of domestic and international trade fairs. At the same time, promote and advertise Thua Thien Hue tourism by participating in events across the country.
According to experts, Hue tourism has a lot of potential for development and the important issue is how to convey information about destinations and tourism products to tourists. That requires many solutions from not only the tourism industry but also the cooperation of many sides.
As the leader of the tourism development linkage group of 5 localities: Thua Thien Hue - Da Nang - Quang Nam - Quang Binh - Quang Tri, in 2024, Thua Thien Hue province proposed to deploy linkage work with a number of key provinces/cities and regions across the country and participate in regional tourism promotion activities in 2024; improve the linkage efficiency of 5 localities in promotion work to provinces and cities across the country such as participating in a number of prominent annual tourism fairs; organize stimulus programs in major cities and coordinate to welcome domestic Famtrip and Presstrip delegations to survey and write articles.
