The Quang Binh Investment and Tourism Promotion Conference was held yesterday, June 12, in France by the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in the French Republic with a series of new signed documents.
Attending the event were Mr. Dinh Toan Thang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to France; representatives of the Vietnam Cultural Center in France, the Association for the Promotion of Vietnamese Culture and Tourism in France and Europe.
On the side of the Quang Binh provincial delegation, there were Mr. Tran Thang, Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee and nearly 50 representatives of business leaders, investors, media units, and press reporters in France.
The event is of interest to many organizations and businesses in France.
At the conference, the Quang Binh delegation introduced the main contents of the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030 with a socio -economic development strategy towards green, fast and sustainable growth. At the same time, the potentials, strengths, and investment opportunities in Quang Binh province were introduced through virtual reality technology, videos, promotional publications, etc.
Quang Binh leaders affirmed that they will always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for investors with the motto "the success and development of enterprises is also the success and development of the province". The locality always accepts the opinions of enterprises and investors, thereby opening many cooperation programs and investment projects in the coming time.
At the conference, the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh province signed a cooperation agreement with partners to connect, promote and boost the growth of the French and European tourist markets.

In particular, the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh province signed with Vivu Journeys Company in Portugal and Spain on cooperation in promoting Quang Binh tourism and developing tourism products, tourism and resort projects; signed with Vietravel Company in Europe on cooperation in promoting Quang Binh tourism and developing tourism products for the European tourist market in Quang Binh. In addition, the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh province also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Association for the Promotion of Vietnamese Culture and Tourism in France and Europe.
In the first 6 months of 2024, the total number of tourists to Quang Binh is estimated at more than 2.4 million, an increase of more than 23% over the same period. Of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 88,500, an increase of nearly 43% over the same period.
This is the first time Quang Binh province has organized an event to promote tourism and direct investment in France, opening up many opportunities in tourism development and stimulation, especially in the European tourist market.
