Learn how to move past sadness.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - After the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of this year's high school graduation exam, there were many joyful laughs, but also quite a few sighs of disappointment. Among the students with low scores were even some with good academic abilities. Perhaps they encountered psychological problems or were affected by some external factors during the exam process.

Learn how to move past sadness.

These students were once the subject of direct instruction from their teachers, and their parents and relatives had high expectations for their grades. Before the exam, they were even the pride of their families and clans. On the Facebook page of a teacher I know, she wrote enthusiastically: "I'm sitting here waiting for the students' exciting numbers." That was her mood before the exam results were announced. And just a few hours later, she posted a status full of lament: "Completely shut down!" Similarly, a parent I know turned off their phone for three consecutive days after their child received their exam results.

The students did their best. Those who didn't get the grades they wanted will feel even more upset when they see that status update and that mood.

I know a brilliant student who won several national awards. She was accepted into a highly coveted program, one that many students dream of. However, she gradually lost momentum due to external factors, to the point where she faced the risk of being forced to drop out. Fortunately, her parents were far-sighted. While saddened, they weren't harsh. After discussing with their daughter and consulting various sources, they suggested she switch to a part-time program, which she completed a few years later. Her degree isn't as prestigious as many of her peers', but it's by no means inferior; she doesn't feel inferior. She recognized that the race ahead was the "school of life." She was determined to learn what she hadn't learned in school. And as they say, fate never turns its back on those who strive. She is now a team leader at a successful company, earning a dream income.

Every exam will eventually pass, and scores will only be memories if we know how to overcome the sadness. This largely depends on adults knowing how to guide and support children through difficult times. Exam scores determine the field of study, but the field of study doesn't necessarily determine the future, as the future depends on many factors, including the individual's own efforts.
