In addition to the central budget supporting 6 billion VND each year, the provincial budget will allocate 18 billion VND to implement the rural tourism development program in the construction of new rural areas in the period of 2021 - 2025.
According to Resolution 27 dated November 28, 2023 of the People's Council of Quang Nam province, for the development of rural tourism spots and rural tourism products with regional characteristics, the support level shall not exceed 2 billion VND/project/model/tourist spot.
For the construction and implementation of a pilot model for developing rural tourism in the direction of green, responsible and sustainable tourism according to the project list approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development , the support level shall not exceed 5 billion VND/project/model.
From this mechanism, in 2023, the province deployed 3 pilot models under the rural tourism development program with a total support amount of more than 6.4 billion VND from the central budget.
Through the program, it contributes to promoting the development of the tourism industry based on local resources, associated with the characteristics of rural villages in Quang Nam, thereby contributing to renewing tourism products, creating attraction for domestic and foreign tourists.
