Quang Nam exhibition displays OCOP and agricultural products in 2025

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment informed that after nearly 7 years of implementing the "One Commune One Product" - OCOP Program, Quang Nam now has nearly 500 products recognized as meeting OCOP standards of 3 stars or higher, especially 2 products meeting national 5-star OCOP standards, many products have reached the international market.

Many localities have formed concentrated raw material areas, developed OCOP products associated with community tourism , and preserved traditional values.

According to Mr. Vu, along with OCOP products, in recent times, typical agricultural products of Quang Nam such as Ngoc Linh ginseng, Tra My cinnamon, Tien Phuoc pepper, agarwood, Cua Khe fish sauce... have been gradually improving quality, increasing value along the chain and meeting strict market standards.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu said that this exhibition gathered more than 150 booths, introducing hundreds of OCOP products and typical agricultural products of Quang Nam and other provinces.

This is a key activity in the series of events "Displaying and introducing OCOP products, Quang Nam agricultural products; connecting trade between suppliers with export enterprises and trade promotion organizations in 2025" to contribute to bringing Quang Nam agricultural products closer to domestic and foreign consumers, enhancing the brand and developing a sustainable market...

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung awarded the Certificate of National 5-star OCOP standard to 2 products: Quy Thu grilled coconut cake of Quy Thu Production - Trading Company Limited (Que Xuan 2 commune, Que Son) and SAPHRATON health protection food of Sam Sam Company Limited (Tra Linh commune, Nam Tra My).
