Ha Long Carnival 2025 with many unique art performances has opened the summer tourist season in Quang Ninh, promising to be very exciting.

On the evening of May 1, Ha Long Carnival 2025 took place at Sun Carnival Square, Ha Long City, opening the 2025 summer tourism activities of Quang Ninh province.

With the theme "Connecting Heritage - Pioneering Shining", Ha Long Carnival 2025 is a large-scale cultural and artistic event and an important highlight in the strategy to stimulate tourism during the peak season in Quang Ninh .

Ha Long Carnival 2025 is elaborately and magnificently staged with 4 main parts: a comprehensive art program, a grand ball with a parade of art model cars, a modern DJ stage and a brilliant high-altitude fireworks display.

The highlight of the festival was the art program consisting of 3 chapters: "Ha Long Heritage - Brilliant Wonder", "Quang Ninh - Heritage within Heritage" and "Integration into Five Continents - Shining Pioneers". Nearly 1,000 actors, artists, folk artisans and international art troupes together recreated a unique cultural space, connecting tradition and modernity.

The special highlight of this year's program is the performance of intangible cultural heritages of humanity recognized by UNESCO, such as Then Tay Binh Lieu, Quan Ho Bac Ninh , Hue royal court music, Southern amateur music, Hat Van Co Doi Thuong Ngan ... These heritages are performed in a contemporary art style, combining 3D projection technology, modern sound and lighting effects, creating vivid visual experiences, attracting both young audiences and international tourists.

The final part of the program was imbued with the spirit of integration with the participation of international art troupes and modern performances such as electronic music (EDM), a parade of art model cars, paragliding performances and high-altitude fireworks. Five model cars, representing the cultural, religious, entertainment and tourism symbols of Ha Long, appeared one after another with bustling music and vibrant colors, affirming the message of a dynamic, innovative and globally integrated Quang Ninh.

The festival also has profound political and cultural significance as it is held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), demonstrating the spirit of gratitude for history and the aspiration for development of the heroic mining land.
