The strongest wind was level 9, gusting to level 11. The storm moved west-southwest at a speed of 15-20 km/h.
According to the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Quang Ninh province, the province has 7,708 aquaculture facilities, of which 800 offshore aquaculture facilities have been informed about the storm to deploy response solutions to ensure safety. The review and evacuation of people in aquaculture areas to shore (priority given to women, the elderly, and children) has been implemented since noon on July 19.

Previously, on July 20, localities also organized to bring about 14,000 tourists from the island routes safely to shore. By 5 p.m. on July 20, there were only 47 tourists who wanted to stay on the islands of Co To Special Zone and Van Don Special Zone. Localities have directed tourism businesses to ensure the living needs and safety of tourists.
