Que Son honors 15 families and 74 individuals for outstanding voluntary blood donations

(QNO) - On the morning of June 12, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Que Son district organized a program to honor outstanding voluntary blood donors.

In recent years, the voluntary blood donation movement in Que Son has developed widely, attracting a large number of cadres and people to participate. In 2 years (2024 - 2025), the whole district has mobilized 1,070 units of blood, reaching 101% of the plan assigned by the province. In addition, 126 units of warm blood were directly donated at hospitals.

In the district, there are 9 live blood bank clubs with 427 volunteers, including: Que Xuan 2, Que Phu, Huong An, Que My, Que Thuan, Que Chau commune clubs, Dong Phu town, Que Son High School and the Flower on the Rock Club.

At the program, Que Son District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 10 families and 16 individuals who donated blood 10 times or more. The District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee awarded 5 families and 58 individuals who donated blood 5 to 9 times.
