From 2:10 p.m.: The National Assembly conducted a secret ballot to elect Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh as Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term; approved the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Mr. Le Thanh Long as Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term and Mr. Luong Tam Quang as Minister of Public Security for the 2021-2026 term.

At the meeting, the National Assembly listened to: The Vote Counting Committee report on the results of the vote counting to elect Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term for Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh; approve the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le Thanh Long and Minister of Public Security for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Luong Tam Quang.

Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong presented two draft resolutions of the National Assembly, including: Resolution on the election of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term; Resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Security for the 2021-2026 term.

Then, the National Assembly discussed and voted to pass the following Resolutions:

Resolution on electing Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh as Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term by electronic voting, the results are as follows: 467 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 95.89% of the total number of National Assembly Deputies), of which 465 delegates approved (equal to 95.48% of the total number of National Assembly Deputies), 1 delegate did not approve (equal to 0.21% of the total number of National Assembly Deputies); 1 delegate did not vote (equal to 0.21% of the total number of National Assembly Deputies).

Including the Resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Security for the 2021-2026 term by electronic voting.

Result: 469 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 96.30% of the total number of National Assembly delegates), of which 468 delegates approved (equal to 96.10% of the total number of National Assembly delegates), and 1 delegate did not approve (equal to 0.21% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).

From 3:25 p.m., the National Assembly considered and approved the membership of the National Defense and Security Council.
