The 9th extraordinary session took place from February 12-19, focusing on giving opinions on laws to implement the organization and streamlining of the apparatus and personnel work.
According to the program, at the 9th extraordinary session, the National Assembly will give opinions on the supplementary project on socio -economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more; the draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly; the draft law on promulgation of legal documents; the draft law on Organization of the Government (amended); the draft law on Organization of local governments (amended).
In addition, the National Assembly also gave opinions on: the draft Resolution of the National Assembly regulating the handling of a number of issues related to the arrangement of the state apparatus; the investment policy for the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong railway construction investment project; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly piloting a number of specific and special mechanisms and policies to develop the urban railway network system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; specific mechanisms and policies for investment in the construction of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly piloting a number of policies to remove obstacles in science, technology and innovation activities; the investment plan to supplement the charter capital for the period 2024-2026 of the parent company - Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC).
In particular, at this session, the National Assembly will give opinions on: the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term; the structure of the number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the organization of National Assembly agencies; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the number of members of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly.
At the same time, the National Assembly will discuss and vote to approve: Resolution of the National Assembly on the structure of the number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term; Resolution on the organization of National Assembly agencies; Resolution on the number of members of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly.
This time, the National Assembly will also hold a separate meeting on personnel work.
Today (February 12), on the first working day of the session, the National Assembly will listen to the Minister of Planning and Investment, authorized by the Prime Minister, present the Report on the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.
The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee will present a report on the verification of the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.
Then, the representative of the Drafting Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee will present the Submission on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly. The Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee will present the Verification Report on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly.
The National Assembly will listen to the Minister of Justice, authorized by the Prime Minister, present the Report on the draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended); and the Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee will present the Report on the examination of the draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended).
Then, the National Assembly discussed in groups: Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly; Draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended).
In the program on the afternoon of February 12, the Minister of Home Affairs, authorized by the Prime Minister, will present the Report on the draft Law on Government Organization (amended). The Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee will present the Report on the review of the draft Law on Government Organization (amended).
The Minister of Home Affairs also, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended). The Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee presented the Report on the examination of the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended).
The Minister of Justice, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly regulating the handling of a number of issues related to the reorganization of the state apparatus. The Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law presented the Report on the examination of the draft Resolution of the National Assembly regulating the handling of a number of issues related to the reorganization of the state apparatus.
In the late afternoon, the National Assembly will discuss in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly.
