On the afternoon of May 6, at the regular Government press conference, Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Quoc Phuong said that figures show that 2025 will witness an explosion in the number of newly registered enterprises and enterprises returning to operation.

Specifically, in the first quarter of 2025, the number of newly registered enterprises reached 36,400, an increase of 1.2 times compared to previous periods. In particular, the capital of newly established enterprises increased by 1.5% compared to the same period in 2024.

According to the Deputy Minister of Finance, the main reason for this boom is that businesses' confidence in the production and business environment and the development prospects of the Vietnamese economy has been increasingly consolidated and enhanced. This is reflected in the results of the leadership and direction of the Party, State and Government leaders.

Specifically, in 2025 and the coming years, institutional innovation is creating great confidence in the business community about openness and removing difficulties in legal regulations to promote production and business.

Besides, the directive and management decisions of the Party, State, Government and Prime Minister in removing difficulties and obstacles in projects make new businesses trust in the management policies.

In addition, regarding the economic growth prospects through the Party and State's policies on the determination to grow 8% in 2025 and the orientation for double-digit growth in the next 5 years, this is a great determination of the Party and State, along with a series of solutions and policies to strengthen the confidence of the business community.

In particular, the Politburo's issuance of Resolution 68 on private economic development - a breakthrough milestone, providing clear, specific and distinct policy directions for the private economic sector - has made businesses more confident about the prospects for good development in their production and business activities.
