On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024, on November 19, the Railway College held a meeting, gratitude and honoring of generations of leaders and teachers of the school. Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Danh Huy
In his congratulatory speech, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Danh Huy acknowledged that the school has promoted the school's 69-year tradition very well, especially praising the school's leadership's innovation in thinking and daring to think and act. Deputy Minister Nguyen Danh Huy gave an example that although the school is a college system, it has trained both engineers and masters, coordinated with businesses to train labor resources suitable to market needs, proactively cooperated internationally, and is ready to provide high-quality human resources in the context of the railway industry facing great opportunities and requiring strong innovation. Deputy Minister Nguyen Danh Huy emphasized that this thinking and approach are especially meaningful in the context of the 10th Central Resolution of the 13th tenure, which clearly stated that "human resources" is one of the three biggest bottlenecks of the country, along with institutions and infrastructure. Therefore, as aneducational institution, school leaders and teachers must worry more about this to "do better than they have done", and continue to seek ways to remove this bottleneck.
For his part, General Director of Vietnam Railways Hoang Gia Khanh congratulated and commended the achievements of the school that have contributed to the overall victory of the railway industry in recent years. General Director Hoang Gia Khanh also informed the teachers and students of the school about the restructuring and innovation program that is taking place strongly at the railway corporation. He especially emphasized the goal of upgrading the railway college to the Railway Academy. An important and urgent goal that he called a " political task". General Director Hoang Gia Khanh encouraged the team to be ready for the new task, training human resources to meet the needs of the modern and developing railway industry, especially the high-speed railway - an unprecedented project in the country's history in terms of scale, difficulty and symbolism.
Also on this occasion, the Railway College branches in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City also held a ceremony to honor and express gratitude to generations of teachers and staff working at the school. The Railway College and its branches in the central and southern regions will continue to improve the capacity of the teaching staff and facilities to meet the requirements of training engineers and high-tech workers for the railway industry and society; meeting the development and integration requirements of the railway industry in the coming period.
