The first book in the DeepSeek series - "Using DeepSeek Effectively: Optimizing Productivity Intelligently, Efficiently and Creatively" - was launched in China on March 10, 2025, and quickly became a phenomenon. In just 7 days, more than 100,000 copies were sold, bringing the work to the No. 1 position in the technology - Internet book ranking on the Dangdang e-commerce platform. At the same time, the book became the main reference in the China National AI Innovation Competition.

Following that success, the second book - "The Complete User Guide: Practical Applications in Every Career" - brings more than 30 specific AI use cases at work, from creating meeting minutes in 3 minutes, drawing instant mind maps, writing content scripts, editing legal documents to visualizing academic data... helping users save up to 80% of time on repetitive tasks, while improving creative efficiency.

Aiming to popularize AI in the Vietnamese community

Explaining why the Science and Technology Publishing House chose to publish DeepSeek in Vietnam, Mr. Bui Minh Cuong said that the decision to publish DeepSeek in Vietnam was based on three criteria: Right time - Right need - Right author.

The book series is consistent with the National Strategy on Research, Development and Application of Artificial Intelligence by 2030 (Decision No. 127/QD-TTg), with the goal of bringing Vietnam into the group of 4 leading ASEAN countries in AI. At the same time, AI is increasingly integrated into the training programs of ministries, branches, and universities and has become an important tool in innovation, entrepreneurship and digital governance.

The DeepSeek series of books, with practical content, logical design, and easy access, is expected to become a useful introductory document for students, lecturers, experts, and workers. Instead of abstract theory, the book focuses on practice, simulating real-life situations - making AI friendly, useful, and easy to apply.

Another highlight of the book series is the team of authors - leading AI experts in China. The main author is Lu Sam Hoang, former CEO of Aho Technology, who worked at Alibaba and is a strategic advisor to many corporations in the Fortune 500 list... Besides, there are authors such as Do Vu, Truong Tu Minh, Tran Bac - people who have made many contributions to research, training and application of generative AI (GenAI), digitaleducation and Metaverse.

The Publishing House has closely coordinated with units to implement copyright procedures, translation, editing, design and book publishing in less than 60 days - a very short time for a set of academic books, ensuring the book is released on the occasion of Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18).

The process of translating and editing books in Vietnam is also carried out carefully.
