Launching the Club of typical cultural and folk art activities of the Stieng ethnic group

BPO - On the afternoon of June 12, at the People's Committee of Quang Minh Commune (Chon Thanh Town), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Phuoc Province organized a summary, launch and experimental performance of the Typical Club of Cultural and Folk Art Activities of the Stieng Ethnic Group. The ceremony not only marked the official formation of a typical community activity model, but also a concrete step in the strategy of preserving and promoting national cultural identity in the midst of modernity.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decision to establish, introduced the executive board and presented flowers to individuals with important contributions. Immediately after the ceremony, the club members performed many experimental performances such as the dance “Dance of the Bau”, the Pi flute solo “Sending Love”, the S’tieng folk song “Na Vrol” and traditional gong performances. These performances not only demonstrated the learning results after the process of teaching from the artisans, but also aroused pride and love for national culture in the community.
