In the 2021 - 2026 term, the Provincial Tourism Association will promote dynamism and solidarity to complete its tasks, contributing to building a safe, civilized and friendly Ha Giang tourist destination. As a bridge between businesses and the government and agencies promoting tourism activities, the Provincial Tourism Association will actively advise and criticize policies and propose solutions for sustainable tourism development. Currently, the Provincial Tourism Association has 7 affiliated branches with 98 official members. During its term, the Association actively participated in dialogues between the business community, departments, branches, and localities to remove difficulties and improve the investment and tourism business environment. At the same time, it coordinated training and capacity building for staff, members, and tour guides of travel agencies. It directed the application of science and technology and tourism such as: creating links, QR codes, linking on data portals, and exploiting social networks. In addition to professional activities, the Provincial Tourism Association regularly participates in social charity work, during the period of donating 50,000 trees and joining hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in many localities.
At the conference, the Association's operational orientation after the merger of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces was deployed. In particular, the HHDL of the two provinces have fully agreed on the name, office headquarters, proposed personnel, membership fee levels... Delegates also contributed ideas to the Association's activities in the coming time, proposing a number of ideas: Researching the establishment of HHDL at the commune level, by region and area; strengthening coordination to maintain the image of friendly tourism and identity; solutions to exploit tourism potential after the merger; improving the efficiency of branch activities...
