Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2025 launched in Vietnam, from 2.449 billion VND

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2025 has officially launched in Vietnam with a starting price of 2.449 billion VND. The car has a completely new design with a large screen covering the dashboard, equipped with ADAS.

Within the framework of the exhibition held at JW Marriott Hanoi , the new generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class luxury sedan (code name W214) was officially launched to Vietnamese customers. There are 3 versions assembled domestically, including E200 Avantgarde, E200 Exclusive and E300 AMG.

The new generation of E-Class has been completely changed from the outside to the inside. The car's size is slightly larger than the previous generation, with overall parameters of 4,949 x 1,948 x 1,469 mm. The car's wheelbase is 2,961 mm. The car's exterior design is different from the old generation with the front lights connected to the large radiator grille.

The E300 AMG uses adaptive Digital Light, while the lower version uses high-performance LED. 3D star-shaped LED taillights are also a highlight. In particular, the E300 AMG now uses wheels up to 20 inches in size (previously 19 inches).

If the E200 Avantgarde represents a pioneering spirit and contemporary style, the E200 Exclusive is a symbol of serenity and elegance, then the E300 AMG represents a dynamic and modern spirit, containing both emotion and leading technology.

Inside, the new E-Class is even more different, especially the dashboard. The E300 gets the MBUX Hyperscreen, with a 14.4-inch central touchscreen, a passenger screen, and a screen behind the steering wheel. Lower trims get two screens. The car supports wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

The new E-Class's amenities have also been significantly upgraded. The sound system on the E300 is now the Burmester 4D 17-speaker 710W. The memory-positioned seats also have built-in cooling and ventilation. The car's glass is soundproof and heat-insulated. The air conditioning on the E300 is 4-zone, while the E200 is 2-zone. The Keyless Go smart door locking system is available on all 3 versions. The E300 has a panoramic sunroof.

All three versions share the same 2.0L mild-hybrid engine. The E200 has 204 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The E300 has 258 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, with the difference being the adaptive suspension system. Both versions use a 9-speed gearbox. Safety technology is also a notable point on the new E-Class.

The standard E200 already has a 360-degree camera. The mid-range E200 has a few ADAS features like emergency braking assist, active distance assist, and blind spot warning. The E300 also has ADAS, but it's more advanced, with active lane keeping assist, active blind spot warning, and a driver monitoring camera...

Mercedes-Benz has long been a long-standing brand to guarantee the safety that a vehicle brings. In addition to the solid foundation from the solid reinforced steel frame, manufacturing techniques and high-class assembly skills, on the new E-Class, safety features are equipped more comprehensively than ever.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class's competitors in Vietnam include the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and Lexus ES. Of these, the 5 Series is the strongest competitor, also assembled domestically, and has just changed to a new generation since mid-year with many valuable changes in technology, including ADAS.

The company's announced prices are 2.449 billion, 2.589 billion and 3.209 billion VND respectively. In the new generation, the E-Class has a significantly higher price. Previously, the E-Class 2021 launched in Vietnam had a starting price of 2.31 billion VND, the highest being 2.95 billion VND.
