Launch of iHanoi app

With the message “touch to connect”, the iHanoi Digital Citizen platform (Digital Capital Citizen) has just been launched to the people with the mission of being a digital interaction channel to narrow the gap between the government and the people and businesses operating in Hanoi.

The application means that with just one touch, you can connect to government agencies, with one touch you can follow the latest news of Hanoi and with one touch you can use smart urban utilities. An important feature of this application is that each citizen will be given a unique digital account, with just one "touch to connect" you can use all applications, utilities and services developed in the electronic environment of the capital in the near future.

The application includes 4 main functions: Interacting with the government through feedback and recommendations; Smart urban utilities such as transportation, healthcare, education, environment, land, agriculture ; Receiving information through important news and communications of the city; Receiving initiatives to contribute to the construction of the Capital.

iHanoi is designed as an open data platform, allowing easy integration and sharing of information with other systems. With smart urban utilities, in the future, people will have the opportunity to experience many utilities such as looking up parking spots and booking in advance, cashless payments. Along with that, through traffic cameras on the application, people can proactively choose the appropriate route, avoiding congestion through instant image data on routes during rush hour.

The application also provides the Electronic Health Book utility - recording the health care process of a resident living in the city for life. Electronic health record data is confidential, and residents have the right to decide whether or not to share personal information.

For management, the innovation of organizing and operating meetings, digital meeting rooms, smart meeting rooms integrated with paperless meeting applications (eCabinet) is a combination of solutions including smart software, modern facilities and digitized documents. This is expected to minimize meeting time, completely use electronic documents, increase timeliness and efficiency in handling the work of city leaders.

In the next phase, Hanoi will continue to research and propose the implementation of solution models closely following Project 06, applying 4.0 technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) in biometric recognition for healthcare, education , and public administration. Deploy smart traffic solutions, solutions to create a digital working environment for the city.

In addition, in the near future, the city will also pilot the operation of the Intelligent Traffic system, including the Intelligent Traffic Operation Center (TOC), providing useful solutions and services for people and vehicles participating in traffic, helping to organize traffic more safely and conveniently, limit accidents and incidents when participating in traffic, and effectively manage and exploit traffic infrastructure.

Hanoi is the locality assigned by the Government and the Working Group implementing Decision 06/QD-CP dated January 6, 2022 on Approval of the Project on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 (Project 06) to pilot a number of tasks as a basis for assessment before replication.
