In phase 1, the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City and HDBank launched a smart medical reception system to facilitate registration for testing, vaccination, and general medical examinations through self-service kiosks and a mobile application.

The deployment of smart medical kiosks at the Pasteur Institute brings many practical benefits to the public: reducing the burden on the Institute and helping patients save time and effort during medical examinations and treatment.
The next phases will involve the simultaneous deployment of multiple subsystems: a laboratory results management system; vaccination and general medical examination with online lookup; a water and food testing management system; a training management system; and an Integrated Operations Center (IOC) for the leadership to comprehensively monitor the Institute's operations. These subsystems are expected to be expanded from Q4/2025.
Speaking at the launch and official operation of this system, Associate Professor, Doctor, Specialist II, Mr. Nguyen Vu Trung, Director of the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City, shared: “Our institute has always been a leading unit in the fields of research, vaccination, diagnosis, and testing. The cooperation with HDBank to deploy the smart medical kiosk is a strategic step, helping us add modern tools to further optimize the reception, registration, and payment processes, reduce the burden on hospitals, and help people save time and effort, thereby providing better experiences during medical examinations and treatment.”
The MEDIPAY smart medical kiosk is an initiative pioneered by HDBank since 2024, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Health, as part of the Government's Project 6. To date, HDBank has completed the deployment of kiosks in over 200 hospitals nationwide and aims to complete 1001 kiosks by the end of 2025.

With just 1-2 minutes of operation, people can complete the entire process from registration to payment, reducing waiting times and helping the Institute operate more efficiently.
The commissioning of the kiosk at the Pasteur Institute further affirms HDBank's pioneering role in supporting the preventive health sector, while simultaneously realizing its comprehensive financial strategy – community finance – bringing financial services and digital conveniences closer to daily life, contributing to improving the quality of community healthcare.

To date, HDBank has completed the deployment of kiosks in more than 200 hospitals nationwide and aims to complete 1,001 kiosks by the end of 2025.
