Open STEM Day 2025 aims to create an "exciting STEM & AI experiential journey" for students, teachers, and parents to explore the principles of science , technology, engineering, and mathematics, as well as the groundbreaking applications of artificial intelligence.
The program consisted of four activities:the FPT Schools Open Robot Tournament, the STEMPetition Finals at the grassroots level, the EdTalk: Better with AI educational workshop, and a series of 25 STEM Challenges booths for students.

With the theme "Building the Nation," the FPT Schools Robot Competition attracted 20 participating teams of students from grades 1-9 across the city. The competition arena was modeled after the map of Vietnam, with three regions (north, central, and south) and the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.
The competing teams programmed two robots, Kien Thiet and Kien Tao, to construct landmark buildings. After completion, the robots proceeded to Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands to install the national flag poles, thus completing the competition round.

The tournament aims to develop logical thinking, programming skills, and teamwork abilities—core competencies of STEM education .
The Fschools STEMPetition 2025-2026 finals, themed “Deep Learning With Love,” encouraged students to develop AI products connected to the community and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From nearly 200 ideas, the 12 best teams advanced to the school finals, presenting many innovative and highly applicable solutions.
In addition, the educational workshop for teachers across Da Nang city also updated on trends and applications of AI in teaching.

Students also participated in technology experiences with 25 "touch the future" booths. Many activities were available, including assembling and programming the VEX robot, exploring the HOLOX hologram, conducting science experiments, challenging their mathematical thinking, deciphering secret messages, experiencing interactive English, and participating in creative art and technology workshops.
This year's event has been expanded to include deeper networking activities with the entire city's education community. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Ngan, Director of FPT Da Nang Primary & Secondary School, stated: "We hope Open STEM Day will be a place where every student can experience the future of technology, and every teacher can be energized for innovation. AI is changing the way we teach and learn, and supporting teachers in accessing technology correctly and practically is the school's responsibility in the digital transformation of education."
