The global robot market, especially the humanoid robot segment, is forecast to reach a scale of up to 7,000 billion USD by 2050 with more than 600 million devices deployed worldwide . Although it is not yet possible to participate in the global market, the fact that Vietnamese enterprises have introduced robot models shows that it is a serious investment and timely grasp of market demand.

VinMotion humanoid robot (of VinGroup ) is capable of performing basic operations such as walking, waving and interacting with gestures, demonstrating great potential for application in production lines, services and life. In the first phase, the robot will be deployed in VinFast's factories, supporting the transportation of components and quality control. In the medium and long term, the research unit will develop smart robot lines capable of communication, image processing, language... and application in the fields of logistics, healthcare, education and customer service.

VSR01 security patrol robot researched and developed by Viettel

Similarly, the VSR01 security patrol robot, researched and developed by Viettel, has just been introduced to the public. The robot is designed to replace or support security forces in industrial parks, residential areas, factories and critical infrastructure.

Viettel said that the robot is capable of operating continuously in all weather conditions, detecting incidents and giving timely warnings thanks to AI technology and modern sensors. In case of force majeure, the robot can be controlled manually, but in normal conditions, it automatically moves according to a pre-programmed terrain map. The robot's AI software system is completely owned by Viettel. VSR01 can operate for 3-4 hours when fully charged and can also use batteries.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Support and Consulting Center (DX Center) has operated a smart public administration center model, with AI robots and smart kiosks in a number of agencies. This product set has the ability to guide and initially support online declaration and submission of documents, helping people reduce waiting time at public administration service centers in wards and communes.

“Previous robots mainly had simple functions such as delivering goods, bringing cakes or greetings, but this robot is applied with AI, assigned specific tasks to support and guide people. With the model of a smart public administration center including AI robots and smart kiosks, in the future, public administration service centers of wards and communes may only need 1 specialist to coordinate,” said Mr. Phan Phuong Tung.
