During the Peak Activity Day “Volunteers join hands to prevent and combat drugs and social evils”, in response to the National Day for Drug Prevention and Control (June 26), activities took place such as: Drug prevention and control propaganda program with the theme “Drugs - Disaster of humanity”; propaganda conference “Harmful effects of drugs on youth and children”; discussion, consultation, job introduction for 5+1 subjects; program “Journey of faith” at drug rehabilitation facilities.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 collectives of commune, ward and town police branches with outstanding achievements in advising and implementing the removal of illegal and illegal advertising.
Ho Chi Minh City Police presented two motorbikes as a means of livelihood to two young men who were formerly drug addicts and have reformed, integrated well, and actively participated in the "People's Patrol" model in District 4.
