Revealing the reason for inviting actor Jung Il-woo to the film, producer Kim Dae-kuen said: “For this project, we need faces that not only have acting ability beyond the basic level, but are also recognized in both Korea and Vietnam. By chance, one time Jung Il-woo came to Vietnam, we were extremely surprised to see that many audiences recognized him. After that, we understood that the film “Family is Number 1” was extremely popular in Vietnam, which made Jung Il-woo start to pay more attention to the market and audience here. We met actor Jung Il-woo to propose, and he happily agreed to participate in the film.”

During this trip to Vietnam, actor Jung Il-woo will directly participate in a series of film promotion activities such as: Official premiere event, cinetour to meet audiences at theaters, as well as a private fan meeting event for fans.

“Mang me di bo” is a Vietnam-Korea cooperation project directed by Mo Hong-jin and produced by Phan Gia Nhat Linh. The film features an outstanding cast including Hong Dao, Tuan Tran, Juliet Bao Ngoc, Jung Il-woo, Quoc Khanh, Hai Trieu, Lam Vy Da, Vinh Rau... The film conveys a strong message about the value of family, while expanding on aspects of friendship, love and sharing between people in difficult circumstances.
