Galaxy S26 camera leak disappoints

According to Android Authority , although the Samsung Galaxy S25 has only been officially on the market for a few months, rumors about the Galaxy S26 series have already begun to appear.

Specifically, GalaxyClub reported that the basic Galaxy S26 model will once again be equipped with a 50 MP main camera. In addition, this source also revealed that Samsung will use a new camera sensor for the S26 series.

Details are still unknown, but it's likely part of the Isocell GN series and could be a previously unannounced sensor.

However, GalaxyClub adds that this is also the only upgrade revealed about the S26's main camera cluster. In fact, Samsung's new camera sensor may only be a minor improvement over the old unit.

Android Authority points out that the current Isocell GN3 sensor is practically identical to the GN5 camera used on the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus, except for better autofocus. That means you shouldn't expect the Galaxy S26's main camera hardware to be on par with the OnePlus 13 or Google Pixel 9.

Previously, rumor expert Ice Universe also claimed that in 2024, the Samsung Galaxy S26 will use the same camera sensor as previous versions.

The Galaxy S25 smartphone series can be said to be a success as it contributes greatly to Samsung's home appliance business.
