Bustling working atmosphere at construction sites

With the spirit of "overcoming the sun and the rain", right in the first days of the Spring of Giap Thin 2024, at many construction and traffic project sites in the province, the atmosphere of labor competition and production has become bustling and bustling again. This not only signals a new year with many favorable conditions but also becomes a driving force for growth, awakening many potentials and advantages of the province, contributing to the country's new prosperous springs.

On the morning of February 15 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), dozens of workers returned to work at the construction site of the railway overpass on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Vinh Yen City. This is the project where workers returned to work the earliest among the key projects currently under construction in the province.

Representatives of the Department of Transport (DOT) and the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (PMU) came to encourage and send New Year greetings to the project's staff and workers; hoping that the staff and workers of the joint venture will continue to unite and strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Up to now, the railway overpass project on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Vinh Yen City has completed all bored piles, pedestals and abutments M1, M2, piers from T1 - T7; cast reinforced concrete beams for 5/6 spans; launched steel beams for spans T2 - T3... The volume of work on the service road system since the start of construction has reached 72% of the contract value.

Mr. Le Ngoc Minh, Director of the Provincial Traffic Construction Project Management Board, said: Although there are many difficulties in site clearance, with the spirit of "overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain", the construction output is always guaranteed, and the aesthetics of the project are focused on. The project is expected to be completed and technically opened to traffic in August 2024; inaugurated and put into operation in September 2024.

With the goal of safe construction, effective progress is spreading across the construction site of the provincial Radio and Television Station at the new location. At this time, the project has completed the rough construction of the 15-storey building, 1 basement and is entering the finishing stage.

The contractor consortium focused on machinery and equipment to implement the “three-shift, four-shift” formula, speeding up the project’s completion. In addition, to ensure the progress, quality and aesthetics of the project, the investor and the contractor consortium paid special attention to ensuring occupational safety and hygiene.

The entire construction area is fenced, has warning signs and 2 separate entrances; 100% of workers are equipped with protective gear. During the project construction process, construction measures are implemented for each project item; equipment and materials are strictly assessed to ensure quality.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Anh, a construction technical officer, said: Striving to exceed the progress signed in the contract, on the first day of the project, the investor came to encourage the workers. With the attention and encouragement, 100% of the workers were determined to complete the assigned work on schedule, contributing a small part to the success of the project and the development of the province.

It is known that the project has a total investment of nearly 460 billion VND, invested by the Provincial Management Board of Civil and Industrial Construction Projects, and constructed by a joint venture of the Ministry of National Defense's 319 Corporation - Infrastructure Construction and Development Joint Stock Company - Ha Hung Company Limited. After completion, the project will not only create a highlight for Vinh Phuc urban space but also fulfill the political tasks of the province and the increasing demand for information and entertainment of the people.

Right in the first days of the new year of Giap Thin 2024, at the construction site of the project to build the office building of the Department of Transport and the Provincial Traffic Construction Project Management Board, the joint venture of contractors Vinaconex 21 Joint Stock Company - Tri Dung Technology Trading Joint Stock Company mobilized hundreds of workers and specialized machinery and equipment to urgently construct the items.

During the project implementation, the contractor and the supervising consultant always pay close attention and propose reasonable construction solutions to resolve arising problems in order to speed up the project progress. Currently, the project is in the process of demolishing 30% of the construction in the area handed over for construction. At the same time, completing the construction of items such as: underground water tank, pumping station house, foundation and office building structure.

The representative of the contractor consortium said: After Tet, the contractor encouraged workers to return to work earlier than expected to focus on human resources, machinery and equipment to demolish old buildings to complete the office building, build fences and guard houses.

At the same time, construction of auxiliary items such as drainage, roads, yards... During the implementation process, occupational safety and hygiene and noise reduction are focused on to avoid affecting surrounding residential areas.

Key projects that have been accelerated in the province since the first days of the new year of Giap Thin 2024 are new aspirations and motivations, contributing to awakening the potential and advantages, promoting the socio-economic development of the province and creating connections between Vinh Phuc and economic centers in the region.
