Currently, the whole commune has more than 200 households raising and exploiting earthworms with a total area of ​​226 hectares. The average earthworm output per year is from 150 - 200 tons, bringing high income to the people.

"September 20th and October 5th" every year is the main season for earthworms in Vinh Thuan commune.
