With one month left until Lunar New Year, shops on Hang Ma Street (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi ) have all changed their appearance to welcome the Year of the Dragon 2024.

Most of these items are associated with the Dragon mascot symbol of 2024. Last weekend, Pham Thuy Hang (22 years old, Hoang Mai, Hanoi) and her friends went to Hang Ma Street to take photos and buy Tet items early. For Hang, this place is a shopping paradise every time Tet comes and spring comes. "Going to Hang Ma Street to take photos and shop helps me feel the bustling atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday of the past" - Hang said and said that this street always has diverse and rich Tet decorations that are renewed every year.

Ms. Truong Bich Thuy (Tay Ho, Hanoi) also took the opportunity to take her children to shop for Tet early to avoid the crowds and choose the most suitable items. "This year, I saw many new and eye-catching items, so I chose the items I liked to decorate my home and company," she said. In the days leading up to Tet, shops on Hang Ma Street were busy preparing decorations and Tet toys to serve people's shopping and consumption needs.

The street attracts a large number of people to take photos and shop. In addition, the shops also attract the attention of foreign tourists. According to Mr. Bui Manh Hung, the owner of a shop on Hang Ma Street, this year the traders have imported items with a variety of designs and styles to attract a large number of tourists. "The main color of the decorations is still red because according to Vietnamese beliefs, this is the color that brings fortune and luck," Mr. Hung shared. He said that the prices of Tet decoration products this year are stable, not much different from last year. Small decorative hanging strings range from 10,000 to 50,000 VND.
