On June 2, the 2024 HDBank National Futsal Championship continued with two late matches of round 4. At 2:00 p.m., Tan Hiep Hung played against Khanh Hoa. Despite being underestimated, Tan Hiep Hung had an excellent match to win.
After a goalless first half, Tan Hiep Hung took the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal from Van Duc. The loss forced Khanh Hoa to attack and play with a power-play strategy.
However, this way of playing of Khanh Hoa was not effective and also caused them to concede the second goal. Van Thanh lost the ball, creating an opportunity for Cong Dai to finish into an empty net, sealing a 2-0 victory for Tan Hiep Hung. This was also Tan Hiep Hung's first win of the season this year.
The late match at 5pm was a confrontation between Sahako and Saigon Titans. With a stronger force, the former champion team quickly dominated from the start of the match and made Saigon Titans struggle to block.
In the 15th minute, Minh Man opened the score for Sahako with an accurate shot. In the second half, Sahako doubled the gap in the 31st minute when Minh Man passed the ball for Anh Vu to score. The final result was 2-0 in favor of Sahako.
After the 4th round, the tournament will continue on June 6 and 7 with the 5th round taking place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
2024 is the 8th consecutive year that Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has coordinated with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to organize the highest tournaments of Futsal, with the support of Diamond Sponsor, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank).
