With a duration of 5 years (from 2023 - 2027), the immediate goal of the program "Your Smile - Our Happiness" in 2023 is to conduct 27 maxillofacial surgeries for disadvantaged children in Vietnam; 10 free dental examinations and consultations at Co.opmarts for customers. It is expected that 200 children will receive free surgery during the 5-year program implementation period.
This is the second time Saigon Co.op and Ho Chi Minh City Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology have collaborated to organize a free dental surgery program for disadvantaged Vietnamese children. The first time was held in 2022, the surgery program was successful for 50 children after a scientific and thorough screening and examination process.

Following the success of the first time, in addition to the main activity of maxillofacial surgery treatment for children, the program "Your Smile - Our Happiness" has been expanded with many practical and meaningful activities such as organizing free dental examinations and consultations at Co.opmarts for customers; visiting and giving gifts before and after maxillofacial surgery for children; organizing tours, shopping, and experiences at Co.opmart for families of children after surgery.
Saigon Co.op and the Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology cooperate to provide free maxillofacial surgery for Vietnamese children.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Maxillofacial Hospital: " The charity surgery program has been organized by the hospital every year with the aim of bringing smiles and joy to Vietnamese children in difficult circumstances.
By coordinating the program with Saigon Co.op, the hospital is supported with more financial resources and medical resources. In particular, we have more opportunities to reach patients across the country through Saigon Co.op's extensive distribution system, thereby spreading the program, continuing to bring joy and smiles to Vietnamese children ."
