Saigontourist Group signs series of strategic cooperation agreements in Russia, promoting two-way tourism

Within the framework of the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in the Russian Federation 2025, Saigon Tourist Group signed and exchanged a series of memorandums of understanding on tourism development cooperation with strategic partners from Russia.

This activity took place at the Vietnam - Russia Business Forum in Moscow on May 11.

The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, as part of the program accompanying the state visit of General Secretary To Lam, his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation.

The forum was attended by leaders of ministries, sectors and business communities of the two countries operating in key areas such as tourism , minerals, energy, textiles, digital transformation, green development...

At the forum, Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines and Russian travel company Amparus Tour signed a memorandum of understanding on May 9. At the same time, another agreement was signed between Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines and the Russian Union of Fairs and Exhibitions (RUEF) on May 11.

The memorandums of understanding focus on product development and connectivity of air, sea and river transport, promoting MICE tourism, technology and travel services between the two countries. The parties also agreed to implement brand promotion programs, organize famtrips in Vietnam and Russia, and develop incentive packages to stimulate two-way tourism.

Saigontourist Group delegation participated in surveying the wharf system, sea and river ships of Mosturflot Group.

On the same day, the Saigontourist Group delegation worked directly with Amparus Tour to discuss the cooperation implementation plan. The delegation also surveyed the port infrastructure and fleet of Mosturflot Group, opening up the potential for exploiting waterway tourism routes.

Previously, on May 9, Saigontourist Group coordinated with Vietnam Airlines to organize a ceremony to announce the direct flight route Hanoi - Moscow, and at the same time organize the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in the Russian Federation 2025. This is a highlight in a series of promotional activities on the occasion of the state visit of General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-ranking delegation of Vietnam.

Chairman of Saigontourist Group, Mr. Pham Huy Binh, affirmed that this promotion program demonstrates the determination to expand the international tourism market, especially the traditional market with great potential like Russia. At the same time, it contributes to strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries and strongly promoting the image of Vietnamese tourism to international friends.
