Attending the program rehearsal were Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do and leaders of Dien Bien province.
On the side of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there were Deputy Minister Ho An Phong and Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh.

The program's rehearsal attracted thousands of locals and tourists to watch. Artists, actors, soldiers, and students performed an art program with the theme "Coming to the Ban Flower Land", with 3 chapters - 19 scenes. The chapters are named: "Dien Bien - Legendary Land", "Dien Bien - Traveling with the Flights", "Dien Bien - Flower Seasons Connecting All Directions".
Through the art program, the audience was taken on a "travel" to admire and experience the beauty of nature and people in all regions of the country, with the central image from Dien Bien.
The art program is presented in the form of music, dance, physical drama, stage with artistic narration and photo reportage combined with 3D, 4D drawing, laser projection, electric fireworks... It is expected that the official opening program will use new dron - flycam technology with about 10 - 12 images taken in 10 minutes, creating lighting effects to attract viewers.

This is a major event promoting the development of Dien Bien tourism in particular and Vietnam tourism in general. The National Tourism Year - Dien Bien and the Ban Flower Festival 2024 are organized with a series of activities throughout the year, aiming to promote tourist destinations, attract international tourists and promote domestic tourism, contributing to developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector of the province. The main and consistent theme of the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien is: "Glory of Dien Bien Phu - Endless experiences".
After the art program, delegates stayed to discuss, exchange, give comments, and edit some details to complete the program, ready for the official Opening Ceremony taking place on the evening of March 16.
