The program "The Fatherland's Gratitude" on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025) took place at the National Martyrs Cemetery on Road 9, Quang Tri province. This is the resting place of nearly 11,000 heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the two resistance wars of the nation.
In addition to singer Nguyen Thu Hang, many other artists also participated in the event such as: Sao Mai Huyen Trang, OPlus group, Hoang Hong Ngoc...

The program is a meaningful activity directed by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, implemented by the Army Radio and Television Center, and will be broadcast on July 27 on Vietnam National Defense Television.
The Fatherland's Recognition is a sacred symphony of gratitude, a sincere tribute to the generations of fathers and brothers who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. In the solemn space of the cemetery, each incense offering ceremony and profound artistic performances touched the hearts of the audience.

At the event, the champion of the 2015 Sao Mai contest in the folk music category, Nguyen Thu Hang, performed the song "Sending in Memory" , composed by musician Le Trong Lap, adapted from the poem "Vieng mo ba" by author Minh Ngoc, written for her father who died in the 1968 Mau Than campaign in Hue .
With a gentle, profound melody, the song is like a son's heartfelt confession of love and longing for his father - a martyr who is resting with his comrades at the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Route 9.
Sharing about the moment standing on stage at this sacred place, Thu Hang emotionally said: “I have had many opportunities to sing at the National Martyrs Cemetery on Route 9, the resting place of nearly 11,000 heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the two resistance wars of the nation.
Every time I stand here, my emotions are overflowing, I feel like I am not singing for the audience in the stands, but for nearly 11,000 heroes who are resting in peace. Many times, I feel my eyes sting, my chest feels tight...”.
“I sang “Sending into Memory” with all my deep gratitude and appreciation in my heart, to the previous generation - those who sacrificed their blood and bones for the peace and independence of the Fatherland that we are enjoying today,” the singer added.
