Allkpop reported on August 31 that Lee Jun-ki appeared as a special guest on tvN's "You Quiz on The Block."
After the success of the movie "The Emperor and the Clown", Lee Jun-ki continued to strive to prove his acting ability with many different types of roles. He gained attention with many roles in later movies.
Lee Jun-ki revealed to the show's MC that he eats tofu instead of rice and foods made from flour.
Lee Jun-ki always does his own dangerous scenes without a stunt double. He shared that he wants to be evaluated as a versatile actor, conquering the audience with his own ability. He is worried that using a stunt double will reduce the audience's interest and lose the authenticity of the scene.
The actor surprised everyone when he revealed that he had not eaten rice or flour for the past 7 years to make it easier to act in action movies. "That's my own secret that I realized when participating in many action scenes. In the first 1-2 years, I endured the uncomfortable feeling of abstaining from rice and flour, but later on I felt very good. My body is much lighter and easier to move than before" - Lee Jun-ki shared.
Instead of rice and flour, he used tofu as his main source of food. There were many conflicting opinions surrounding Lee Jun-ki's sharing. Some viewers said that he became thinner and did not look as healthy as before.
However, some believe that if the replacement food provides enough nutrition for the body and the actor is still healthy according to medical assessments, then his diet is fine.
He has achieved success in his career.
