An auction company has just announced the auction of 1,606 vehicles of various types. These vehicles are evidence and administrative violations confiscated by the Traffic Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police.
Specifically, the property lot includes 1,268 two-wheeled motorbikes (motorbikes), 197 three-wheeled vehicles, 141 homemade trailers of various types (sold as scrap without registration for circulation). The starting price is over 1.48 billion VND, averaging over 920,000 VND/vehicle. The above price does not include taxes, fees and other costs for transporting the property and handling related issues (if any).
Deposit: 290 million VND. The auction is scheduled for the morning of October 3rd online with ascending bids, with a step price of 50 million VND.
According to the list, more than 1,200 motorbikes were auctioned, many of which still had license plates, chassis numbers, engine numbers... but were all damaged. The value of the motorbikes was determined by the authorities to be around 370,000 VND to over 1 million VND.
In addition, the lot also includes 197 damaged three-wheeled vehicles, valued at 2.8 million VND/vehicle, and 141 homemade trailers valued at 670,000 VND/vehicle, also being auctioned in this round.

Previously, a batch of 538 3-wheeled and 4-wheeled vehicles, which were evidence and means of administrative violations confiscated by Hanoi City Police, was also auctioned. The starting price of this batch of assets was more than 1.18 billion VND, excluding taxes, other fees and other costs for transporting the assets and handling related issues (if any), averaging more than 2.2 million VND/vehicle.
According to the list of 538 auctioned vehicles, there were 528 3-wheeled vehicles and 10 4-wheeled vehicles, most of which had no license plates, brands, engine numbers, or frame numbers... The result after the auction on September 19 was that the assets were successfully sold for more than 1.23 billion VND, 50 million VND higher than the starting price.
In fact, because the procedures for confiscation, destruction, and auction of administrative violation exhibits take a lot of time, most vehicles are detained for too long, causing deterioration, damage, and waste.
