(CLO) The royal robe believed to belong to King Bao Dai will be auctioned at the Asian art antiques auction taking place on December 12 in France.
Accordingly, the Drouot auction house in France has just posted information about the upcoming auction of Asian art artifacts on December 12. Among these artifacts is the appearance of the royal robe believed to belong to King Bao Dai in lot number 41.

According to information provided by the auction house, this dragon robe has wide yellow silk sleeves, orange silk lining, multi-colored embroidery and gold thread.
The shirt is tied on the right side with two yellow silk strips tied in front of the collar.
The dragon robe is 145cm high from the collar to the hem, and 240cm wide from the sleeve span. The collar is changed, sewn over the dragon's head right in the middle of the king's chest.
This dress was originally owned by Princess Phuong Dung (daughter of King Bao Dai), the auction house reported that it was displayed at the exhibition "Flying Dragon - Vietnamese Royal Art" held in France in 2014.
The auction house offers a starting price of 80,000 - 120,000 euros for this dragon robe.
In addition to the royal robe of King Bao Dai mentioned above, this auction also offers information about a pair of shoes originating from the Nguyen Dynasty and also believed to belong to King Bao Dai.
These shoes are made of silk, with a five-clawed dragon pattern, and the heels are embroidered with the word "longevity" in red thread. The shoes above are similar in shape to the shoes of King Bao Dai, currently kept at the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum.
The starting price for the shoes at auction is 6,000 - 8,000 euros.
