The connection and coordination between the Literature and Arts Associations of the two provinces after the merger helps to promote existing resources, creating favorable conditions for organizing more diverse and quality professional activities. Thereby, the cultural and spiritual life of the people is improved, contributing to promoting the sustainable development of literature and arts in the context of integration. The force of artists, members and collaborators is increasingly expanded and developed, actively contributing to the literature and arts career of the province. This force continues to participate in creating valuable works, vividly reflecting the traditional history and working life of the people, spreading the cultural beauty and people of An Giang and Kien Giang. Thereby, contributing to enriching the cultural and artistic values of the province, meeting the increasing demand for spiritual and cultural enjoyment of the people.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Nha, member of the Folk Arts Association, Kien Giang Literature and Arts Association, shared: “The Folk Arts Association has 14 members, most of whom are elderly. The merger of the province is an opportunity for more new members to join the association, contributing to the development of the rich and diverse folk arts sector in terms of culture, people, festivals, local stories, etc. At the same time, it contributes to preserving cultural values for future generations to better understand the history and people of Kien Giang - An Giang homeland”.
In addition, the merger also expands the space for activities, creating conditions for artists to exchange, experience reality, enrich life and creative inspiration. The cultural exchange between the two regions creates new perspectives in the works. Artists of An Giang can understand more about the land and people of Kien Giang and vice versa, artists of Kien Giang have a more multi-dimensional view of An Giang's cultural identity. This stimulates the source of creativity, adds energy to continue writing new journeys for the province's literature and arts, spreading cultural values to the community. From there, many new works with diverse colors, truly reflecting the life of people, landscapes, and culture of the land were born.
The artists continue to create together, reflecting the multi-dimensional social life, the beauty of the homeland and the country through works of photography, painting, literature, music , etc. Mr. Truong Minh Dien, member of the Photography Association, Kien Giang Literature and Arts Association shared: "The merger of the province has expanded the creative space, creating conditions for me and the artists to freely create. In the coming time, I will go to the communes and wards of An Giang province (old) to learn and explore the culture and life of the people, from there finding materials for new works".
According to Phan Thanh Vu, Vice President in charge of Kien Giang Literature and Arts Association, the merger of the province sets new requirements for the organization and operation of literature and arts associations. In the coming time, the associations must ensure a streamlined organization, professional and effective operation. At the same time, they must continue to build a team of artists who develop and unite, promote the strengths of each locality and innovate their methods of operation. The Association will arouse and promote the creative talents of artists, encourage members to create works of depth and high ideological value, truly reflecting social life, contributing to building a rich cultural and artistic life imbued with national identity.
