Merging Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong: 80% of staff work in Da Lat

Lam Dong province is urgently preparing infrastructure to arrange jobs and accommodation for thousands of people after merging with Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that according to the merger plan of the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, and Dak Nong, there will be more than 5,900 officials and civil servants in the new administrative apparatus, of which, 80% will be assigned to work in Da Lat City (administrative center after the merger).

Accordingly, 330 civil servants from the offices of the People's Committee, the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of the three provinces will be assigned to work at existing offices in Lam Dong province.

For civil servants of departments and branches after the merger, there will be 3,253 people, arranged to work mainly at the current Lam Dong Provincial Administrative Center (No. 36 Tran Phu, Da Lat City) and 2 reserve addresses at the Lam Dong Provincial Religious Committee (old) and the headquarters of Ward 3 People's Committee, Da Lat City.

In addition, 1,295 people from public service units will be arranged to work at the old headquarters of Da Lat City People's Committee (No. 5 Tran Nhan Tong, Da Lat City).

As for the units of the front bloc and political organizations, they will arrange to work at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, the Provincial Youth Union, the Farmers' Association, the Women's Union, and the Veterans' Association.

In addition, Lam Dong province also completed a review of a series of old headquarters and villas in Da Lat city to arrange housing for about 1,960 people in need after the merger.
