Thuan Hoa district has a natural area of nearly 140 km2, a population of nearly 300,000 people; including 19 wards located south of the Huong River: An Cuu, An Dong, An Tay, Duong No, Huong Phong, Phu Hoi, Phu Nhuan, Phu Thuong, Phuong Duc, Phuoc Vinh, Thuan An, Thuy Bang, Thuy Bieu, Thuy Van, Thuy Xuan, Truong An, Vinh Ninh, Vy Da and Xuan Phu.
