On the afternoon of November 27, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 7, Department 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security dispatched a rescue vehicle to move the vehicles involved in the accident on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway away from the scene of the multi-vehicle accident; traffic on the expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Tay Ninh has returned to normal.

At about 12:40 p.m. the same day, a traffic flow on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway, when reaching Km22+100, in Binh Duc commune, Tay Ninh province, collided with 6 vehicles including 1 tractor-trailer, 3 cars, 1 16-seat vehicle and 1 truck.

The working groups divided the lanes to guide the traffic away from the accident area. Rescue vehicles were dispatched to the scene to move the vehicles off the highway.
