Current status of the branch of the bridge crossing Nguyen Van Linh Street.

Ms. Ton Thi Phuong, resident of Area 1, Soc Trang Ward, said: "When the bridge was built, people were very happy, but we don't know why the branch connecting to Nguyen Van Linh Street was delayed, and that's why this section has no street lights. We hope the authorities will soon complete the remaining part so that people can travel and do business easily."

The leader of Phu Loi Ward People's Committee said that this delay was due to the fact that some affected households had not yet agreed to hand over the site. Mr. Tran Van Nhanh, Chairman of Phu Loi Ward People's Committee, said: "Through the process of mobilization, the households have now agreed; The Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Can Tho City has received the site and is conducting bidding for construction under the new name of the Project for Investment in Completion of Nguyen Van Linh Bridge, with an investment of over 5 billion VND. It is expected to start construction in October 2025".
