Long Thanh Airport Job Fair will be held on August 23

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son, there are only about 10 months left until Long Thanh International Airport comes into operation. Therefore, work related to Long Thanh International Airport needs to be carried out more regularly and drastically.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to set up a Zalo group to quickly and smoothly communicate issues related to training and job creation to serve Long Thanh International Airport.

At the same time, the Department of Education and Training was assigned to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and the Long Thanh International Airport Exploitation Preparation Board to organize the Long Thanh International Airport Job Fair on August 23 in An Phuoc Commune. High schools within a 50km radius from the event venue are allowed to provide vehicles to take students to attend. Secondary schools, colleges and universities are encouraged to encourage students to participate in the festival. The Dong Nai Employment Service Center under the Department of Home Affairs mobilized personnel to support the organization of the event. The Department of Education and Training advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue a plan to organize the Job Fair so that units have a basis for implementation.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son requested departments and branches, especially the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Department of Science and Technology to strengthen communication on training and job needs for Long Thanh International Airport; requested the Vietnam Aviation Academy to support the Department of Education and Training in building a website and app specifically for training and providing jobs for Long Thanh International Airport. In particular, students and people who want to learn a trade and find a job can register directly on the website and app. This website can be used as part of the career guidance program in schools and deployed in all high schools.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son proposed that the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) and the Vietnam Aviation Academy, along with a number of related units and companies, sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, including a commitment to creating jobs for Dong Nai people participating in the aviation labor market. The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding is expected to be held on August 21.
