SeABank shares joy, connects children's dreams

Continuing the mission of spreading love, SeABank organizes the annual charity activity "SeABankers For Children 2023" towards disadvantaged children and poor children in remote areas across the country with many meaningful activities such as: Awarding scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties and have good academic achievements; Donating essential supplies, clothes, facilities, necessities, etc. to schools and social protection centers; Building libraries and reading rooms for children.

With the message "Connecting dreams", thousands of SeABankers in 31 provinces and cities across the country have spread SeABank's "For the community" value through many practical actions that bring joy to children in the month of action for children. In just 2 months of launching, the program has given more than 2,000 gifts to students in difficult circumstances but who have strived to rise up and achieved high results in the 2022-2023 school year. The gifts are textbooks, learning tools, etc., carefully prepared by SeABankers, typically in this activity are SeABank branches in Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Dong Nai, Quang Ngai, Tien Giang , Nha Trang, etc.

Along with practical gifts, SeABankers at Hanoi, Kien Giang , Thanh Hoa branches, Head Office, SeABank Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, etc. also motivated children on their journey to seek knowledge and nurture their dreams by awarding more than 50 scholarships. To extend the circle of love and connect dreams to give wings to a bright future, SeABankers across the provinces enthusiastically participated in the SeABankers For Children charity activities.

Wishing to see the smiles of the “little angels” every day, SeABankers Tan Binh cooperated with the social work department of Children’s Hospital 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and philanthropists to organize a program and give more than 1,300 gifts to children being treated there to encourage the children and their parents. In addition, more than 100 SeABank employees also volunteered to donate blood, of which 89 volunteers successfully donated blood with 82 units of whole blood weighing 350ml and 7 units of whole blood weighing 450ml.

In Da Nang, SeABank employees visited 115 children being raised at the Hope Village - Thanh Khe District - Da Nang City. Due to the epidemic situation, support sources from benefactors and non-governmental organizations are limited, so in order to maintain the center's operations, the Board of Directors and all teachers and catering staff of the Village have worked very hard to take care of the children and maintain the center's continuous operations up to now. The affection that SeABankers Da Nang bring contributes to making the children's meals more abundant and complete.

In particular, SeABankers Headquarters has spread love to students of Ban Bo Lieu Primary and Kindergarten, Tan Hop Commune, Moc Chau District, Son La Province by building a 6.4 cubic meter clean water tank and covering the Bo Lieu Kindergarten with a 150m2 corrugated iron roof. Along with that, SeABank donated water purifiers, water pumps, fans, mats, towels, toothbrushes, mosquito nets, milk cartons, etc. to the school so that students and teachers have good health and are always steadfast in their profession to guide and teach children in the school in a remote area with many difficulties. At the same time, SeABank employees also awarded 10 scholarships to students with outstanding achievements of the school.

Active in community activities, especially for children, in recent years SeABank has organized many meaningful programs for children and those with unfortunate lives to share difficulties as well as to inspire joy and optimism in life. In addition to the annual SeABanker for Children program directly aimed at supporting children, SeABank also established the Dream Nurturing Scholarship Fund in 2015, thereby sponsoring 191 poor and excellent students with a support level of 12 million VND/year/student until they finish grade 12.
