Secret Garden arrived at Noi Bai airport, delighted to receive a hand-painted conical hat

Hanoi - Vietnam is the opening point for the World tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of the group's founding. "Secret Garden Live in Vietnam" is part of the international music project for the community "Good Morning Vietnam" initiated by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam to bring to the Vietnamese public the top music of world-famous artists and bands, while spreading the cultural and historical values of Vietnam to the world.

After the legendary Kenny G and the Bond quartet, Secret Garden was the highlight of Good Morning Vietnam program number 3.

Although they rarely go on tour, Fionnuala Sherry and Rolf Løvland could not hide their excitement and high spirits when they came to Vietnam for the first time to perform as part of their global tour. The two artists chose simple but outstanding outfits when traveling to Vietnam and appeared very friendly and cheerful.

Welcoming the artists at the airport was Mr. Tony Nguyen - Director of International Relations of IB Group Vietnam. The organizers brought Vietnamese conical hats with hand-painted Vietnamese landscapes and nature and the event name "Secret Garden Live in Vietnam" to the airport to give to the two artists.

Coming to Vietnam this time, in addition to the two members Fionnuala Sherry and Rolf Løvland, there was also an orchestra. Therefore, the Organizing Committee also thoughtfully gave the members of the string orchestra handmade Vietnamese conical hats, which made the artists from Europe extremely excited.

Artist Rolf Løvland excitedly shared: "We are really looking forward to the upcoming shows in Vietnam. We have never been here before so we are really excited."

Immediately after arriving at the airport, the artists were taken by the Organizing Committee to a luxury hotel in Hanoi to rest and prepare for the press conference as well as the rehearsal and the show. According to the program's Organizing Committee, the "Secret Garden Live in Vietnam" stage will be one of the group's biggest and most beautiful stages. Secret Garden will perform about 30 songs spanning their 30-year career.

Immortal works along with a magical and shimmering stage, honoring the storytelling with emotional sounds, lyrical and romantic melodies harmonized between classical and Nordic - Celtic folk styles will be spread in the autumn weather of Hanoi.

Although the organizers still kept the program's music program a secret to create a last-minute surprise for the audience, Vietnamese fans will definitely be able to listen to Secret Garden's signature songs live, the most typical of which is probably "Songs From A Secret Garden" - the classic song used as the theme of their first album released exactly 3 decades ago. As usual, after the concert, the two band members will participate in an event to sign posters for fans.

In 1995, Secret Garden made history by winning the Eurovision Song Contest with “Nocturne”, breaking the 40-year history of this prestigious European competition by awarding the prize to a work and an ensemble for the first time. Since then, during the past 3 decades of their career, Secret Garden has nurtured the love of global audiences through 12 albums, starting with “Songs From A Secret Garden” (1995) and most recently “Songs In The Circle of Time” (2024).

Secret Garden consists of 2 members, Fionnuala Sherry (female) and Rolf Løvland (male) founded in 1994. Secret Garden maintains its position in the mainstream music stream as one of the best-selling artists of the Universal Classics & Jazz label with 113 platinum albums worldwide, over 3 billion streams, 311 weeks on the Billboard New Age chart.... Their song "You Raise Me Up" (2001) alone has been performed by a series of the world's top singers and bands such as: Josh Groban, Westlife, Il Divo.... and more than 1000 other artists. This is also one of the most recorded songs of the century.

“Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” takes place at 7:30 p.m. on October 18 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi. This event is part of the annual international music project for the community “Good Morning Vietnam” initiated by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam.
