In the context of the volatile world economy , Vietnamese agricultural products are entering a new phase of transformation, where potential and challenges go hand in hand. In 2025, although exports continue to grow, domestic consumption is still a difficult problem to solve, as farmers still struggle with output, prices and operating costs.

According to a report from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development , the total export value of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in Vietnam in the first 9 months of 2025 reached 52.31 billion USD, an increase of 14% over the same period last year, affirming the strong recovery momentum of the agricultural sector in the context of many fluctuations in global trade.

However, behind those growth numbers is the concern of millions of domestic farmers: how to make Vietnamese agricultural products not only go far, but also get closer to the dining tables of Vietnamese people.

The story is not just about farming, but about faith.

“Farming today is not just about planting and harvesting, but also about how to bring agricultural products to consumers,” said Mr. Nguyen Quang Thuat - Deputy General Director of Sendo Farm.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Thuat, Vietnam has great agricultural potential. Climate, soil, people - all converge to make Vietnam a strong agricultural country. However, most agricultural products are for export, while the domestic market has not been exploited adequately.

“Farmers have good products, but to optimize costs, make profits, and convince customers is not simple. The sales story needs to be clear, honest, and touch trust,” said Mr. Thuat.

From garden to table - A transparent and fresh journey

Amidst that colorful picture, Sendo Farm chose its own way: telling the true story of Vietnamese agricultural products. Instead of just acting as an intermediary, this unit connects directly with the growing areas, shortening the supply chain so that products reach consumers within 24 hours after harvest.

“We want consumers to fully experience the original flavors of Vietnamese agricultural products, from the sweetness of Vinh Long oranges to the aroma of Luc Ngan lychees. Each product carries a story about the land, people and pride of Vietnam,” Mr. Thuat shared.

That is also the reason why Sendo Farm not only sells products, but also "brings stories" - where farmers are honored, and consumers better understand the origin of the food they use every day.

The video series "Where the delicious taste begins" has been introduced by Sendo Farm to its customers, through which customers not only understand more about the origin of agricultural products, specialties, and food items, but also learn more about the feelings of farmers, the joys and sorrows in the story of protecting the land and preserving the profession.

According to Sendo Farm representative, the strong development of e-commerce is opening new doors for Vietnamese agricultural products. Online shopping habits, digital payments and livestream models are changing consumer behavior, especially in big cities. Consumers not only buy products but also buy trust through authentic stories about the products.

However, operating agricultural products online is a difficult problem. Personnel, logistics and storage costs are high, while buyers expect reasonable prices and fast delivery. Sendo Farm, along with many other businesses, is finding solutions through technology, warehouse systems and optimized processes from harvesting to delivery.

From trust to lasting value

Looking further, Sendo Farm representative believes that for Vietnamese agricultural trade to develop like advanced developed countries, the most important thing is not only infrastructure or technology but also consistency and long-term commitment to quality.

“We can learn from what they do, but more importantly, we need to maintain our identity and tell the Vietnamese story with Vietnamese pride. When consumers trust, they are willing to choose Vietnamese products, not just because of price, but because of trust,” emphasized a representative of Sendo Farm.

From garden to table is not a marketing slogan, but a long journey that requires effort, technology and companionship between businesses - farmers - consumers.

And when the story of Vietnamese agricultural products is told with sincerity, transparency and pride, that is also the time when Vietnamese agricultural brands rise strongly right in their homeland.

Sendo Farm Online Supermarket is an online food shopping platform, providing a variety of agricultural products, foods, essential goods with fast delivery service "Buy today, receive tomorrow".

More than just a point of sale, Sendo Farm helps users proactively plan meals, save time, and feel secure about quality all in just a few steps.
