Literature
Reading Comprehension Section : The source material is outside the textbook; the text type is literary text and one of two types: argumentative or informational text.
Writing Section : Write a paragraph (approximately 200 words). One of the following two requirements must be met: Write a paragraph expressing your feelings about a poem or a stanza of a poem.
Write a paragraph analyzing the thematic content, the distinctive artistic features of the work, and its aesthetic effect.
Essay writing section: One of the following two requirements must be met:
- Write an argumentative essay on a social issue, clearly presenting the issue and the writer's opinion (agreement or disagreement) on that issue; provide convincing arguments and evidence.
- Write an argumentative essay on a problem that needs solving; present feasible and persuasive solutions.

Mathematics
The scope of the 2018 General Education Program assessment for lower secondary school mathematics includes the following knowledge areas: geometry and measurement; numbers and algebra; statistics and probability.
The test aims to assess mathematical abilities including mathematical thinking and reasoning, mathematical problem-solving, and mathematical modeling.
Assessment orientation: Students should be able to apply learned knowledge to solve real-world problems. Encouragement should focus on self-learning and creativity, avoiding rote memorization and memorization.
The assessment content aims to help students identify some of the necessary knowledge and skills for entering high school.

English subject
Assessment orientation: Assessing language proficiency should not be based solely on students' rote memorization of grammar and vocabulary; it requires evaluating their ability to understand and apply language knowledge in appropriate contexts, especially in real-life situations.
The assessment scope includes phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, communication, and relevance to real-life situations.
