Accordingly, more than 300 people received medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine from the medical staff of Military Hospital 15. The majority of these people were policy beneficiaries, the elderly, children, and households severely affected by the floods.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: "The medical examination, medication distribution, and social welfare gift-giving program of the 15th Army Corps took place at a time when people were striving to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and close ties of the soldiers with the people. This is a very meaningful act of sharing, contributing to supporting the locality in preventing and controlling diseases, stabilizing lives, and gradually restoring production after the floods."

Participating in the program, Dr. Pham Phu Hai, Head of the Quy Nhon Dong Ward Health Station, said: “The joint support of the medical staff from Military Hospital 15, 15th Army Corps, is extremely practical and timely. After the floods, many households faced difficulties, and the risk of disease outbreaks was very high. The fact that the doctors and medical staff from the Army Corps directly came to the locality to examine, provide medicine, advise on health and support environmental treatment has helped the locality reduce the pressure on the healthcare system, creating conditions for people to stabilize their health and return to normal life as soon as possible.”

Reportedly, this program is a continuation of the regular military-civilian medical cooperation activities of the Corps. Previously, Military Hospital 15 organized free examinations, consultations, and medication distribution for 450 people in Ia Pnôn commune, Gia Lai province.
