The 78th Economic-Defense Brigade currently has 3,219.15 hectares of rubber plantations in operation. The dry rubber latex production as of December 10th reached 6,967.19 tons, achieving 100.68% of the 2025 plan, and excellently completing the target 21 days ahead of schedule.

It is projected that by December 31st, the dry rubber latex production will reach 7,473.75 tons, achieving 108% of the 2025 plan, with an average yield of 2.322 tons/ha. Production values, revenue, and profits all exceeded the set targets. Specifically, revenue reached 133.47% and profit reached 176.75% of the 2025 plan.
Colonel Nguyen Truong Vinh, Commander of the 78th Economic-Defense Brigade, stated that to achieve these results, the Party Committee and Command of the 78th Economic-Defense Brigade have led and implemented comprehensive and effective solutions, especially in the implementation of the "5 management stages": planning management; technical management; materials and product management; financial management; and labor and wage management.

Propaganda and mobilization efforts encouraged workers to allocate a portion of their surplus production to purchase an additional 391.63 tons of fertilizer, totaling 4.13 billion VND, for the orchards. The "Skills Training and Excellent Worker Competition" movement was well organized, with regular training and technical guidance provided to workers before they began their tasks. As a result, the orchards thrived, yielding stable productivity and increasing output from the early months of the season; 95.03% of the workforce achieved a good or excellent skill level.
In addition, the unit organized many social welfare programs to improve the lives of workers and laborers. During the year, the 78th Economic-Defense Brigade supported the construction of 32 "Comrade Houses," "Great Solidarity Houses," and "Houses of Compassion," and repaired 10 houses for the people, with a total cost of 1.83 billion VND. They also distributed thousands of gifts to workers and the people.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Hoang Van Sy, Commander of the 15th Army Corps, acknowledged and praised the outstanding results and achievements of the 78th Economic-Defense Brigade. He also reminded the unit that achieving the target early is only the first step; exceeding the target must be linked to ensuring safety, quality, and sustainable efficiency; productivity, quality, efficiency, and the well-being of workers must be considered the primary measure; and production and business tasks must be closely linked to strengthening national defense and security, and building a strong foundation of public support in the area.
At the conference, the 15th Army Corps awarded certificates of merit and cash prizes to the 78th Economic-Defense Brigade; and presented awards to 3 outstanding production teams and 3 outstanding individuals.
