This is the practical test on handling emergency situations for the crew of ship 016-Quang Trung.

Over two days, the competition involved crews from modern surface combat ships currently on duty at the port, including ship officers, departmental officers, combat personnel, and onboard duty systems of the Navy. They participated in a multiple-choice test, answering questions related to the Regulations on Operational Staff Work in the Vietnam People's Army; the Operational Regulations of the Vietnam People's Navy; the combat regulations of the Surface Ship Brigade; directives, orders, regulations, and guidelines from various levels on combat readiness and various aspects of Party and political work; logistics and technical support; and electronic decoding.

A view of the ship crew's practical exercise in handling emergency situations.

In the practical exercise of handling emergency situations, the ship crews coordinated well in handling combat readiness situations at the dock involving aircraft and frogmen infiltrating the ship's anchorage area; fire prevention and control; maneuvering the ship to avoid collisions at sea; and handling simulated combat situations.

The test is a multiple-choice quiz.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Vuong, Commander of Brigade 162, said: "Coming to this competition, the ship crews have done well in preparation, mastered professional knowledge, coordinated well in handling the situations presented by the judging panel; the advice and proposals from the positions are accurate and relevant to actual combat."

The competition provides ships with opportunities to learn, accumulate knowledge, and improve coordination between commanders and combat positions on board, meeting the requirements and tasks of firmly protecting maritime sovereignty and islands in the new era, especially in commanding high-tech warfare operations.

The organizing committee will compile the scores of each judge in the various categories and hold the closing ceremony, awarding first, second, and third prizes to the crews and individuals who achieved high results.
