A 5-star luxury cruise ship brought approximately 3,500 tourists to Ha Long Bay.

On the morning of September 30th, Ha Long International Cruise Port welcomed the 5-star luxury cruise ship Costa Serena, bringing approximately 3,500 tourists from Hong Kong, China to Quang Ninh.

The Costa Serena cruise ship arrives in Quang Ninh on a Hong Kong – Ha Long – Hong Kong itinerary. Passengers will have one day to explore Ha Long Bay and experience a city tour discovering Quang Ninh's attractions, culture, and cuisine . The ship will depart from the port at 6:00 PM on the same day (September 30th).

Costa Serena is one of the largest cruise ships belonging to Costa Cruises (Italy), renowned for its voyages in the Asian region. This is the first cruise ship to bring tourists to Ha Long Bay after Typhoon No. 3, and also marks the start of the 2024-2025 cruise season (which runs from approximately October this year to April next year).

Immediately after Typhoon Yagi, Ha Long International Cruise Port quickly addressed the aftermath to ensure conditions were met for welcoming tourists, including cruise ship passengers. It is expected that from now until the end of 2024, Ha Long International Cruise Port will welcome 16 large cruise ships from world-renowned corporations and brands such as Mein Schiff 6, Celebrity Solstice, Noordam, etc., bringing thousands of international tourists from Europe, America, and China to Ha Long.

Reportedly, the Costa Serena cruise ship will return to Ha Long Bay four more times in October and November.
