What's interesting about the Skoda Kushaq about to launch in Vietnam?

Some sources say that Skoda Kushaq will be launched on June 28, however this information has not been confirmed by Skoda.

According to some sources, the new Skoda Kushaq 2025 model is expected to officially launch in the Vietnamese market on June 28. Although Skoda Vietnam has not confirmed it, information about the product, price and equipment has begun to be revealed.

Currently, the domestically assembled Kushaqs have been manufactured and displayed at the Skoda factory in Quang Ninh . The car is distributed in two versions: Ambition and Style. Of which, the Ambituon version has an expected price of under 600 million VND.

Despite being two different configurations, the appearance between Style and Ambition is not too different. Both are equipped with LED headlights and 17-inch wheels. However, the Style version is better thanks to the automatic on/off light feature and automatic wipers.

The interior is where the hierarchy between the two versions is clearly shown. The Style version has a modern electronic clock cluster behind the steering wheel, a 10-inch central entertainment screen supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto,...

7-speaker sound system (including subwoofer), electric driver's seat and cooling, single-zone automatic air conditioning, rear seat vents, wireless charger and sunroof.

Meanwhile, the Ambition version is more modest with an analog clock cluster with a small secondary screen, manually adjustable seats and a 6-speaker sound system. However, the standard version is still equipped with a 10-inch central screen and automatic air conditioning.

Both Kushaq versions share the same 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine, producing 115 horsepower and 178 Nm of maximum torque, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

In terms of safety equipment, both versions have standard features such as electronic balance, anti-lock brakes (ABS), hill start assist, rear camera, rear collision sensor and 6 airbags.

The Style version is equipped with a tire pressure sensor system and anti-theft warning. However, the car still lacks advanced driver assistance technology (ADAS) - a minus point compared to competitors in the same segment such as Hyundai Creta or Toyota Yaris Cross.

Skoda Kushaq will join the B-size urban SUV group that is very vibrant in Vietnam, competing with formidable names such as Mitsubishi Xforce, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos or Toyota Yaris Cross.
