Department of Industry and Trade works with Central Retail Group Vietnam

In order to facilitate and support enterprises, cooperatives, production and business establishments of the province to promote, seek partners, seek output markets for products, especially have the opportunity to cooperate in consuming products with GO! Ha Nam supermarket, on the afternoon of April 5, the Department of Industry and Trade held a working conference with Central Retail Vietnam Group.

At the conference, the delegation of Central Retail Group listened to representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade introduce the province's potential and advantages in production and consumption of agricultural, forestry and fishery products with a number of enterprises and cooperatives producing and processing vegetables, fruits and meat products on a large scale, ready to supply to supermarkets, shopping centers and restaurants.

In particular, Ha Nam also has 112 products from 57 establishments certified as OCOP. Many typical and typical products of the province are of interest to consumers nationwide and are loved by them and are included in clean food stores and supermarket systems inside and outside the province, such as vegetables from Phu Van Organic Agricultural Products Cooperative, Cat Lai Agricultural Products Cooperative; processed fish products from Hai Dang River Aquatic Products Cooperative; Cheu village rice paper; processed agricultural products from Mai Chi Food Joint Stock Company, etc.

On this occasion, Central Retail Group also listened to representatives of enterprises and cooperatives in the province introduce their strong products and production and processing processes.

The conference also heard representatives of Central Retail Group introduce the business activities of the GO! supermarket system; the supermarket's requirements for the quality of products consumed at the supermarket; the process of cooperation and product consumption when enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities have products consumed at GO! supermarkets.

The Group representative said that the GO! project in Ha Nam is being implemented smoothly and is expected to be operational in August 2024. When the supermarket is operational, over 95% of the products on sale will be Vietnamese. Therefore, the Group representative hopes that through the conference, there will be opportunities to cooperate and connect with businesses and production facilities in Ha Nam province in consuming the province's typical products.

The Group hopes to receive attention, companionship and active support from the provincial departments and branches, especially the Department of Industry and Trade, in connecting with suppliers in the province to bring typical products, clean and safe agricultural products of Ha Nam into distribution and consumption at GO! Ha Nam supermarket as well as in the group's supermarket system in provinces and cities across the country and around the world .
